The start of the summer is opened with the biking season. Followed by a full opening of the Portes Du Soleil area with the PassPortes du Soleil event starting on 27th June.

The Ultra Trail

PassPortes du Soleil
This marks an unmissable event with the PassPortes du Soleil inviting you to explore the Swiss French region through day long tours, on foot, on Gravel bikes, E-bikes and for the real thrill seekers, Mountain bikes. Spartan Ultra World Championship & Trifecta Weekend Race
This well-known race returns to Morzine. Endurance, obstacles and a passion to push yourself to the limit. How crazy are you? Competitors, old and young take part every year, but if you don’t have the stomach for this kind of craziness you can always watch the competitors and cheer them on as they run by. Harley Days in Morzine.
In Morzine, motorcycle fans fill the streets with 10,000 Motorcycles and 30,000 people. On top of all the bikes, visitors enjoy free live music concerts, various stalls, and plenty of leather gear. An unmissable event for fans of trail running and mountaints. This trail running event is held in Morzine every summer and is a unique experience in the midst of the stuing Alpine scenery. This event is the perfect opportunity to put your limits to the test and experience an unforgettable sporting adventure.

UCI Downhill Work Cup 2026
Come and see the world champions in UCI Downill, Cross Country and Enduro riding compete for this year’s title.
August 22nd
Triathlon Montriond-Morzine-Avoriaz
A true altitude triathlon, this even offers everyone from amateurs to seasoned triathletes, an accessible perfectly organized and safe challenge. The program offers swimming in Lac de Montriond, a mythical ascent of Avoriaz by bike, followed by a technical descent to Morzine, before finishing with a run along the Dranse. Take the options of Individual or Relay, and choose one of the distances. Registration is on the Triathlon Montriond-Morzine-Avoriaz website.
August 28th – 30th
Motor Addict Lemon Classic
Morzine will be transformed into an open-air living museum for all car and mechanical enthusiasts. Vintage, Classic and Exceptional cars, road circuits in the Alps and a retro atmosphere in the heart of the village. For three days, over 150 vehicles come to life in the streets of Morzine with parades, static displays, live music and entertainment. This is one event not to be missed.

Rallye du Mont-Blanc
A legendary motor sports event that draws thousands of people to Morzine whether they are passionate about cars or just curious to find out more. This rally is an unforgettable sight right at the heart of the Alps, and you can expect to see impressive speed, technique and breathtaking views. Every year, the rally attracts renowned drivers as well as amateur teams who all come to put their skills to the test and go head -to-head with the world’s best drivers. From Vintage cars to the most modern, spectators can expect a highly diverse and intense sight.
Whilst all the above are taking place you can fill in the gaps with great activities.
Walking and Hiking and if that doesn’t take your fancy, how about on horseback riding taking in the views. White water rafting for the thrill seekers, together with Paragliding, Canyoning, Fantasticable, one of the world’s highest zip wires at 240 meters. Soar through to Switzerland at 100km/h then change to a second zip line to bring you back into France finishing with a chairlift back to the top. What a way to view the mountains!
For the more sedate break, there are golf courses, swimming pools, Tennis course and amazing restaurants.
