Morzine

Alpine Moments is based in the Ski Resort of Morzine.
Morzine is a beautiful, traditional French Alpine village in the Northern Alps near to Geneva, which offers great access to and from the area. Traditional wooden chalets with slate roofs and stone foundations ensure that the village retains its character and Savoyard charm.

It is a working French village, with established patisseries, traiteurs and village shops. These authentic aspects, combined with bars, excellent Savoyard restaurants and ski shops make this a mix of old and new, a wonderful place to enjoy a winter ski holiday and summer holiday.

A town full of life offering a range of sporting and cultural activities. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars for you to enjoy the après ski during the winter.

In summer, Morzine offers mountain bikers some of the world’s best and challenging biking terrain. Over the years it has been host to the Tour de France and Mountain Biking Championships. Other activities that you can partake in during the summer are: paragliding, golfing, fishing, canyoning and tennis to name a few.

The ski resort of Morzine has access to an extensive amount of skiing in the Winter, there is more than enough terrain to cater for everyone’s needs and levels. Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil area which links together up to 14 resorts spanning across 2 countries, offering over 650km of pistes, where Morzine is the largest village within this area.
