Le Schuss

Le Schuss has stunning views and is situated in the beautiful village of La Grande Terche – it’s the perfect family apartment for a winter or summer escape. You can ski to door in the winter or park your bikes in the secure storage in the summer.

The apartment is right next to the main lift in the resort!

The Apartment

Quiet and family friendly; very accessible to the bigger resorts of Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets, which give you access to the largest linked ski area in the world (Portes De Soliel).
The space
The apartment is over two floors with a kitchen-diner and lounge downstairs with a bedroom and two further bedrooms upstairs with bathroom.

There is Wifi in the apartment and the TV has access to Netflix (you will need your own account and roaming access) and Amazon (again your own log in details will be required) plus a DVD player, but is not connected to French TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped, plus there are 2 travel cots if you are traveling with young children / babies.

We have a ski cave for all your equipment in the winter and bike storage for warmer months.

Location

La Grande Terche is a quiet village with a few restaurants and bars. It has its own small supermarket and a couple of ski hire shops. There is a large supermarket 10 minutes drive away that has everything you need.

The skiing in St Jean is excellent, there are a number of bars at the top of the lift and good mix of runs to suit all abilities. The ESF can be found at the bottom of the lift for lessons and many Ski companies based in Morzine will come to St jean to teach.

Morzine is an easy 15 minute drive. Montriond (Ardent lift takes you up to Avoriaz) is also 15 minutes, Les Gets is 20 minutes (or you can ski from Morzine). There is a local shuttle bus during peak ski season that will take you from the lift to the centre of St jean, you can then get a bus to Morzine for a the lifts to Avoriaz and Les Gets.
